Dark Series 80°

In response to extensive customer feedback and demand for wide-angle lighting solutions, we have completely upgraded the Dark Series—the Dark Series 80° lens is now officially available, offering full coverage from 20mm to 83mm.

Since its launch, the Dark Series has consistently focused on optical design that delivers “purer light control and more uniform light distribution.”
Surface microstructure design to reduce background stray light
Using precision surface microstructure technology, we effectively reduce background light within the beam, resulting in a cleaner, sharper light output that minimizes stray light and enhances the clarity of the lighting layers.
Fermat spiral array, for a more uniform light spot
The optical design utilizes a Fermat spiral array to further optimize energy distribution, resulting in superior spot uniformity and reducing hotspots and uneven illumination.
High light transmittance, high central luminous intensity
The Dark Series offers a light transmittance of up to 91%, ensuring high efficiency while delivering greater central light output for highly efficient lighting.
Comprehensive coverage of dimensions and angles, meeting Zhaga standards
To meet the needs of various lighting fixtures and applications, the Dark Series has been developed in a full range of specifications.
Size range: 20mm–83mm
Angle range: 10° / 15° / 24° / 36° / 50°
And now, the Dark Series welcomes a new addition: the 80° wide-angle lens.
Why was the Dark Series 80° developed?
As lighting applications continue to diversify, an increasing number of scenarios are placing higher demands on large coverage areas, uniformity, and overall illuminance performance.
Traditional light distribution often faces the following challenges in large-area lighting:

In a standard 5m x 5m space with a ceiling height of 2.8m, using a 50° beam angle will result in blind spots.
At 80° in the same environment, there are no dark spots and the illumination is highly uniform.

In environments requiring an exceptionally wide illumination area, the Dark Series 80° effectively enhances the overall lighting environment.
For example, in a hallway, traditional lighting typically focuses on illuminating the floor, while the walls on either side remain dimly lit, which can create a noticeable contrast between light and shadow.
