Corridor lighting generally refers to the need for uniform illumination without dark spots along long pathways or corridors. This inherently makes conventional direct-lighting circular light distributions unsuitable for corridors. For corridor lighting, elongated or linear light patterns are typically chosen to ensure uniformity and coverage.

As you can see, the Matrix Series’ wide-angle beam pattern requires only four lights to evenly illuminate a 50-meter-long road.

Conventional direct-lighting distribution is clearly unsuitable for this type of long-distance road scenario.
By comparing the following, it is easy to see the advantages of wide-angle light distribution.
Advantage 1: The light spot exhibits extremely high uniformity over a wide area, and the smooth variation in brightness reduces the eye’s sensitivity to glare, thereby achieving an anti-glare effect.
Advantage 2: A wide beam pattern allows a small number of lights to evenly illuminate every point on the road, eliminating any dark spots.
Advantage 3: All of our Matrix Small Block series are 50mm x 50mm in size and comply with ZHAGA standards, making them 1:1 replacements.
