Hong Kong Internatinal Autumn Lighting Fair
From October 27 to 30, 2025, the annual Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Fair will grandly open at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. As the global lighting industry's most anticipated annual event, this edition is expected to bring together top exhibitors and professional buyers from around the world to collectively outline a new blueprint for the future of lighting artistry.
This Hong Kong exhibition, themed “Innovative Lighting, Illuminating Everlasting Business Opportunities,” injects new vitality into the industry. At the same time, we have brought a new batch of innovative products to offer customers more choices.
Softy Series, Leading the Way to the Future
This year we have focused our efforts on developing the sizes and angles of the Softy Series. We have now fully developed sizes ranging from 20mm to 83mm, and the angles have also been largely perfected.
Why is silicone considered the future direction? In today's environment, everyone is racing to boost power and efficiency. However, relentlessly pursuing luminous efficacy and efficiency without considering heat dissipation can lead to lens melting—a phenomenon we frequently encounter in our daily lives.
Feature 1: High temperature resistance, effectively preventing lens melting caused by heat buildup.
Silicone material is an excellent high-temperature resistant material capable of stable long-term operation in environments up to 140°C, far exceeding conventional PC and PMMA materials on the market. This enables lighting fixtures to achieve higher power ratings.
Feature 2: Resistant to dust accumulation
Designed to address the physical properties of liquid silicone rubber, Hengkun's proprietary coating forms a protective layer on the lens surface, thereby preventing dust adhesion and static electricity generation.
Feature 3: Resistant to yellowing
During the synthesis of silicone gel, we strictly control the chloride ion content in the silicone resin, ensuring it remains below 1 ppm. Furthermore, we ensure platinum salt initiators react fully during synthesis. As a result, the degree of yellowing in our silicone lenses is virtually negligible!
After countless experiments, we have finally overcome the issue of permanent yellowing in silicone lenses. As a breakthrough technology, selecting Hengkun silicone lenses will provide customers with superior stability and reliability for their lighting fixtures.
For this exhibition, we have prepared silicone lens samples for clients who require them. Interested parties may collect samples at booth 1-CON-009/010.
