Pinspot Series
Why Develop the Pinspot Series
Small-angle systems currently face the following major challenges in the market.
1. The angle isn't narrow enough.
2. Limited size options; no development of a product line.
3. It conflicts with the existing lighting fixtures and cannot be replaced on a one-to-one basis.
The Pinspot Series was developed specifically to address these issues. At the recent Frankfurt trade show, we showcased the capabilities of the Pinspot Series, which was well-received by many customers.

Sizes: 25 mm–55 mm
Material: PMMA
Efficiency: 87%
Feature 1: Ultra-narrow angle.
Feature 2: Available in a full range of sizes, from 25 mm to 55 mm. Customers can select the appropriate lens size based on the dimensions of their lighting fixtures.
Feature 3: These products are fully interchangeable with those on the Kirin Optical Platform—products of the same diameter have identical heights and screw hole patterns, so no modifications to the customer’s lighting fixture structure are required.
Feature 4: Compliant with the ZHAGA standard. If you are using optical products that meet the ZHAGA standard, these can be directly replaced on a 1:1 basis.
Actual angle measurements
It’s not just the lens that affects the narrow angle; choosing a different light source can have a significant impact on the narrow angle. So sometimes, it’s not that the lens is performing poorly, but rather that we haven’t selected the right light source.
As can be seen, selecting the correct light source significantly improves the angular quality of narrow-angle lenses. Especially at narrow angles, choosing the wrong light source angle can effectively double the error.
We plan to develop additional sizes, including 20 mm, 40 mm, 55 mm, and 62 mm, to accommodate a wider range of applications and power requirements.
