What is color mixing?

Color mixing, simply put, refers to the process of producing light of different colors from the same light fixture or light panel. Color mixing is generally divided into two types: color temperature mixing and color light mixing, which are commonly referred to as CCT mixing and RGB mixing.

Why mix colors?

Color temperature can regulate the psychological state of the human body.

For example, the color temperature of warm light is usually below 3300K, which is similar to incandescent light. A color temperature of around 2000K is similar to candlelight. A low color temperature and warm color tone environment can give people a warm, comfortable, lazy, and relaxed feeling. The lower the color temperature, the more it can maintain melatonin secretion, thereby achieving a sleep-promoting effect.

Neutral light has a color temperature between 3300K and 4500K, producing soft light that creates a pleasant, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere.

Applications: Stores, offices, restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, etc.

Cool light generally has a color temperature above 4500K. The light source is close to natural light, giving a bright feeling that helps people concentrate and prevents them from falling asleep.
